Project SEANCE Strengthening of Energy Agencies Networks in Countries of Europe
Project goal – Strenghtening the cooperation
The work of the energy agencies shall be smooth and much more efficient. A dissemination of energy agencies experiences must happen, results in the field of energy- and environmental policy shall be identified. In the frame of the project occurs:

The establishment of a secretariat (cooperation with other energy agencies and networks, experience exchange and information activities, training seminars, dissemination)

The establishment of info points (support of the energy agencies through marketing activities and information dissemination, events and workshops)

Research of activities and core competences of the Austrian Energy Agencies
A bilingual folder (german/english) “The Austrian Energy Agencies” with fact sheets of the single energy agencies was produced and is now disseminated.
With SEANCE already existing national energy agencies networks shall be sustained as well as new ones created. The final goal is the increase of the use of renewable energy sources and the dissemination of energy efficiency criteria through the work of energy agencies on the local level as well as their networks on national level.

Development of common solutions and strategies in the energy sector which contribute to the information of the public about energy issues

Support of cooperation on international level
For Austria this is a great chance for closer energy agencies cooperation, an improvement of already existing and new contacts as well as the use of synergetic effects.
